Ron Giguere

Ron Giguere

WASHINGTON, DC, March 3, 2008 - It is with a deep sense of sadness that the TRB Access Management Committee learned of the passing today of longtime friend and partner Ron K. Giguere, Manager of the ITS Professional Capacity Building Program at the U.S. Department of Transportation. Ron's contribution to the industry and to this committee was invaluable and he will be deeply missed.

Ron was Chair of our Access Management Committee for many years, spearheaded the TRB Access Management Manual, and always a determined advocate of access management. He was also a kind and thoughtful person who was always there to lend advice and support.

We will miss him.
