The 8th National Conference on Access Management will be held in Baltimore, MD July 13th – 16th.  For the first time ever, this year’s conference will be offering sponsorship opportunities to corporate entities. We are pleased to share with you the exciting opportunities outlined in the enclosed information packet. 

This Transportation Research Board (TRB) sponsored conference is expected to draw over 300 engineers, planners, researchers and practitioners, from public and private sectors and academia, from across the country and abroad.  The conference is being hosted by the Maryland State Highway Administration and will be held at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in downtown Baltimore.  This is the first time the conference is being held in the Mid-Atlantic Region.  The Maryland State Highway Administration is hosting the event. 

Your sponsorship will help to keep registration costs for this and future conferences at a reasonable level.  Additionally, it will help to support the TRB’s Access Management Committee’s goal of advancing the state-of-the-art practice in access management and its integration into established planning, policy and design processes.  Access management principles have a core relationship to highway safety, system sustainability and mobility.

Student Poster Competition Sponsorship

A select number of college students from a variety of disciplines including transportation and civil engineering, urban planning, and public administration will present posters on access management related topics at the conference.  The winner of the poster competition will receive a monetary award of $500 and a best poster presentation certificate.  
The sponsors of the student poster competition will receive:

1. The award named after the sponsor
2. Acknowledgement at the award ceremony
3. Acknowledgement on the conference website
4. The sponsor’s name and logo included on a poster or banner at the conference

Breaks, Meals and Event Sponsorship Opportunities
